Alex arrived home this morning, and today we’ve been hearing wonderful tales of his walks around the area of Grasmere and Ambleside in the Lake District of England, and looking at some amazing photographs. He has obviously developed a real love for the area and comes home with a strong connection to it.
I took this photo the first time I walked up Loughrigg. The light was stunning, just for a few moments (this was not long after the rainy/windy shot I showed you a while ago). Some of Alex’s photos from near this spot that we looked at today show a much calmer, peaceful scene.
It just goes to show how different conditions can alter your perception.
