From yesterday evening at St Kilda beach. There were some wonderful atmospherics going on with the wind, clouds and sun. These guys seemed to think so anyway.
As I was driving past I glanced at this, debated with myself and kept going, as it was coming up to rush hour. But the potential of it all for a reasonable picture got the better of me so I turned around and backtracked a couple of kilometers. Sometimes you have to do that - it’s deciding to listen to that little voice in your head that we chatted about recently. Anyway, I’m glad I did.
This was with the “new” 1965 Elmar 50mm, by the way, a ripper lens (when of course one remembers to pull it all the way out before using it!).
The keen-eyed and observant among you will spot the Queen Mary 2 lurking in the background, on her maiden stop in Melbourne.
