From some distance I saw it coming (well, after all, it’s RED, innit?). Having already taken a few shots of dull coloured cars (have you ever noticed how many silver, white and grey cars there are out there?*) I quickly concluded it might be worth trying one more shot, and so crossed back over the bridge to wait for it to emerge from underneath.
When it did come through, and much to my surprise and delight, it shot off on the ramp to the left, leaving the two typical dull cars that had been accompanying it to continue along the boring and predictable straight and narrow.
This is one of my favourite pictures from the “colour blind” sessions, although I have a feeling it might end up being the start of something altogether different. I like the graphics of course, but I also like the part that chance played in the formation of this picture. It seems to be about more than what it is.
* In the interest of full disclosure, I feel I should declare that one silver and one grey car inhabit our carport. I once had a red one, though, and I think that counts for something.
