Trentham Falls, April Fool’s Day
There is a drôle little story that goes along with this.
I’d made an appointment to meet up with Kev to do the last of the portraits of him for the Wintringham project I’m involved in (more about that later - patience, patience).
So I rocked up to his place in Sunbury, some distance from Black Rock, and - no Kev. No answer on his phone either. Had a coffee, tried again, no luck.
We’d organized that we’d drive a bit further, up to Trentham, and take portraits at the Waterfall there. So, I ended up going without Kev and took landscape photos instead.
Still don’t know what happened to him. It was April Fool’s Day yesterday so maybe I just got tricked.
Anyway it was very relaxing and I enjoyed it. This is my favourite of the two rolls I took. James printed it up today as an A3+ print on Canson Platine and I’ve gotta say it looks sweeeet!
Now I actually find it much more interesting to look at as an exercise purely in form rather than as an actual content-aware landscape subject. Of course YMMV.
If you click on the picture you should get an enlarged version which is easier to look at.
